Premium income under French GAAP for the quarter was up by 18.8% to EUR9, 659m, as compared with EUR8, 130.5m in the first quarter of 2008.
Revenues under IFRS totalled EUR9, 581.2m, up by 25.4% as compared with revenues of EUR7, 638.2m in the first-quarter 2008.
Also, net new money in France for the quarter was strongly positive at EUR3.4m.
The company said that business grew in all of its main host countries, with premium income for the first quarter up by 19.3% in France, 16.3% in Italy and 25% Brazil, in local currency.
