'E-Plus and O2 Germany have no mobile VoIP tariff plans'
VOD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- E-Plus and O2 Germany currently have no plans to launch special tariffs
for use of mobile VoIP services like Skype, according to
inside-handy.de citing spokesmen from both operators. On 11 May, both
Vodafone Germany and T-Mobile Germany said to German newspapers that
they could launch special tariffs for mobile VoIP use following earlier
reports that the operators would not want to market Nokia phones with
Skype included. E-Plus spokesman Klaus Schulze-Loewenberg said that the
operator has no plans for such special tariff or for changing its
general conditions that currently prohibit use of VoIP services. O2
Germany spokesman Harald Maass said that although no plans exist, the
operator is looking into a possible change in strategy.
