CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 14, 2009 -- ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) today announced that it is scheduled to participate in two upcoming meetings on Wednesday, May 20, 2009: the Leerink Swann Roundtable Conference in New York City, New York, and the BIO 2009 International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
Leerink Swann Roundtable Conference
ARIAD is scheduled to present at the Leerink Swann Roundtable Conference, "Novel Cancer Therapeutics," at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Harvey J. Berger, M.D., chairman and chief executive officer of ARIAD, is scheduled to provide an overview of the Company and its progress in key programs in a corporate presentation at 2:15 p.m. (ET). Dr. Berger will also participate in a panel discussion entitled, "New Developments in Liquid Tumors" at 3:30 p.m. (ET).

2009 BIO International Convention
ARIAD is scheduled to participate in a panel at the 2009 BIO International Convention in Atlanta. Timothy P. Clackson, Ph.D, senior vice president and chief scientific officer at ARIAD, will moderate the panel discussion, "New Developments in Targeted Cancer Therapies," at 10:00 a.m. (ET) on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in B405, in Building B of the Georgia World Congress Center.
