The share of energy and oil products in exports of Uzbekistan grew 3.3 times year-on-year.
Exports of services fell by 0.1 percentage point year-on-year to 10.5 per cent.
Share of cotton-fiber in exports decreased from 16 per cent in the first quarter of 2008 to 8.8 per cent in the same period of 2009 (down 58.6 per cent year-on-year).
Uzbekistan's export of food products slipped from 4.6 per cent in January-March 2008 to 3.3 per cent in the same period of 2009, chemical products from 7.9 per cent to 5.3 per cent, ferrous and non-ferrous metals from 9.5 per cent to 4.3 per cent and machines and equipment from 8.3 per cent to 2.2 per cent.
Exports of Uzbekistan grew by 6.1 per cent year-on-year to US$2.493 billion in the reporting period.
