The Eclipse platform seamlessly supports TDM, as well as carrier-grade Ethernet data traffic, using the platform's Liquid Bandwidth software-scalable capacity migration capability. The extensive use of the nodal architecture gives MagtiCom the ability to configure TDM or Ethernet services as and where needed, under software control. The unique feature set offered by the Eclipse platform allows flexible network expansion that is adaptable to the changing needs of MagtiCom to accommodate next-generation IP-based services. The network is controlled and monitored by Harris Stratex' ProVision Element Management System (EMS), which provides advanced features such as circuit provisioning and network health reporting.
