Forum Uranium Corp.: and Hathor Exploration Limited announced that high-priority drill targets have been identified as a result of ground electromagnetic (EM) and gravity surveys recently completed on the Henday Lake project, northern Saskatchewan. The Henday property has exceptional potential for a shallow, high-grade uranium deposit and is located along the northeast trend hosting the AREVA- operated Midwest Lake deposit (41 million lbs. U3O8 at an average grade of 5.5%) and Hathor's Roughrider Zone. The sandstone thickness on this project averages only 160 metres, making such a target amenable to open pit mining operations.
Forum Uranium Corp. (TSX-Venture:FDC) closed up $0.015 at $0.105 or 17% while Hathor Exploration Ltd. (TSX-Venture:HAT) closed down $0.01 at $2.19 on the high priority drill target news.
AEterna Zentaris Inc.: announced that its partner, Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, presented positive Phase 2 data on the clinical activity of perifosine (KRX-0401), an Akt-inhibitor compound for cancer, as a treatment for advanced metastatic colon cancer and advanced renal cell carcinoma. The new data demonstrated perifosine's anti-cancer activity and efficacy both as a single agent and in combination therapy.
AEterna Zentaris Inc. (TSX:AEZ) closed up $0.49 at $2.35 or 26% while Keryx Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:KERX) closed up $0.52 at $1.22 or 74% on the positive phase II data announcement.
