The first Kyrgyz-Italian business forum was completed in the city of Ancona, Italy on May 28. Representatives of the free economic zone Bishkek, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, International business council and over 40 companies, involved in industry and tourist sphere took part in the meeting.
Italian businessmen were acquainted with business potential of Kyrgyzstan. Issues on opening of resident information office under the Italian Chamber of Commerce for establishment and development of cooperation with Kyrgyz organizations were discussed at the forum.
The sides reportedly came to agreement on development of mutually profitable projects and holding of annual cooperation conferences. It is planned to hold the next meeting in Bishkek on September, 2009.
