Involvement in the EADS DS TWISP Application Developer program provides companies, such as Verint, with access to technical documentation, training and test facilities that enable interoperability with the organization's TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) infrastructure systems.
This translates into greater flexibility for Verint customers, delivering more options for software interoperability in their public safety environments.
The TWISP program benefits customer organizations by collecting the latest information on solutions available worldwide, providing the opportunity to select from a wide range of proven, tested solutions. Verint technology integrates closely with TETRA - a standard that the EADS DS, through its integrated line of business Security & Communication Solutions, endorses and sponsors. The TETRA protocol for trunked radio is widely leveraged throughout the world, including Asia Pacific and South America, and is mandated for use in Europe.
Verint's Impact 360 for Public Safety Powered by Audiolog enables public safety organizations (including police, 999, 112 and transit agencies) to capture calls and related data across digital and analog telephones, trunked and conventional radio systems, telephone lines and VoIP phones. With available console screen capture, incident investigation and analytics, eLearning and coaching, and citizen surveys technology, it brings together a unique set of functionality to assist public safety organizations in achieving accuracy and completeness of records, immediacy of incident data, a reduction in liability and improved quality and employee retention, helping centers accomplish more with limited resources.
