Herr has been named chief operating officer of Vist Financial Corp.'s (NASDAQ: VIST | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) (Current Market Cap: US$41.63 Mil.) insurance division, Vist Insurance. Herr had served as senior vice president with Vist Insurance and its predecessor, Essick & Barr Insurance, since joining the company in 2004.
Prior to joining Cist Financial, Herr served as VP of operations with KDN Corp., Wyomissing. He has more than 22 years experience in the insurance industry on both the carrier and broker sides.
In his new position, Herr will assume overall management responsibility of Vist Insurance, including sales, service, and consulting. He reports to Vist Financial president and CEO Robert D. Davis.
Cist Insurance is an insurance agency providing property and casualty and employee benefits insurance to its clients.
Wyomissing, Pennsylvania-based Vist Financial is a financial services company offering banking, insurance, investments, and wealth management services throughout Berks, Southern Schuylkill, Montgomery, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties.
