Doubleday joins DexCom from Johnson & Johnson, where he spent over 21 years at several operating companies, including the past 13 years working in the diabetes space for both LifeScan and Animas. Doubleday will report to Terry Gregg, DexCom's President and Chief Executive Officer.

Doubleday most recently worked as Director, Global Strategic Alliances for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Diabetes Companies. Doubleday joined Johnson & Johnson in May 1988 as a Retail Sales Representative with Advanced Care Products. He moved to LifeScan in 1996 as a National Account Manager. While at LifeScan, he also served as Area Manager, Consumer Sales, Field Sales Director, Consumer Sales, Field Sales Director, Professional Sales and Marketing Director, Health Care Professional Channel. In 2006, Doubleday moved to Animas as Director, Brand Marketing, responsible for promotion, positioning and messaging for new and existing products in the Animas portfolio. He then served as Director of Strategic Marketing and Alliances, responsible for developing and managing strategic alliances for Animas as well as helping to craft the long term portfolio strategy.
DexCom, headquartered in San Diego, California, is developing and marketing continuous glucose monitoring systems for ambulatory use by patients and by healthcare providers in the hospital.
