The case was registered against K Jalaramaiah, the then branch manager, Andhra Bank, Ravinuthala Branch in Prakasam District and others, a CBI spokesperson said here.
"The accused public servant, in conspiracy with some private persons, sanctioned and disbursed 158 loans amounting to Rs 1.10 crore under Pattabhi Agri Credit Card Scheme and Converted Crop Loans to Agricultural Term Loan Scheme for various persons in fraudulent manner, based on fake and forged documents," he said.
All the loans sanctioned by him are still outstanding due to fraudulent nature of transactions, the official said.
Further investigation was in progress.
