BEIJING, Jun 18, 2009 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
IELSF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Shanda Interactive Entertainment
Limited (SNDA.NASDAQ) was recently charged by Beijing Sursen
Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a d-Paper and e-Paper technological
company in China, for abusing its dominant position.

Sursen said in its complaint that Shanda, exploiting its monopoly
status, forcibly ordered an author to suspend publishing stories on
du8.com, an e-book website operated by Sursen, and asked that all the
author's previously uploaded stories be deleted.

This marks the first antitrust case to be examined in a Shanghai
court, and is still being reviewed by involved parties.
