With the agreement, Exfo becomes Bridge's triple-play service assurance partner and will integrate Bridge's line of IP video analysis, measurement and monitoring solutions into its BrixVision IPTV service assurance system. Also, the companies said they will jointly develop and promote technologies for video quality monitoring targeted to telcos, multiple-service operators (MSOs) and satellite network operators.
Bridge Technologies said its video monitoring and measurement probes will be integrated into Exfo's Brix System, an active and passive service assurance platform for IP service and application quality. As part of the Brix System, the Bridge Technologies products will help Exfo deliver a solution for IP video service assurance for all types of IP video, including IPTV, streaming video and over-the-top video, offering telcos and MSOs one system for assuring the quality of all triple-play services.
