Dennis Giannos, executive vice president and head of the standard lines business unit for PartnerRe U.S., will assume the new role of executive vice president for broker and client development. Giannos will be responsible for enhancing relationships with key brokers and clients shared across PartnerRe?s business units.
Dan Hickey, formerly of General Re Corp., will join PartnerRe (NYSE: PRE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and will succeed Giannos as E.V.P., head of standard lines.
Charles Goldie, currently E.V.P., head of specialty lines for PartnerRe U.S., will assume the position of head of reserving and risk management of global (Non-U.S.) operations. He succeeds Dom Tobey, who has accepted the new position of deputy head of specialty lines at PartnerRe Global.
A search is under way to identify a candidate to lead the U.S. specialty lines business unit.
