According to the airline, the new twice daily service between Zurich and Oslo will be operated using an Airbus A319 aircraft.
Harry Hohmeister, CEO-designate at Swiss International Air Lines, said: "We are delighted that we are able to further invest in our route network in spite of the dark clouds of the global economic crisis. This new connection will further strengthen the close economic ties between Switzerland and Norway."
