Symetra Active Bodies Active Minds includes visits by Sounders players to local elementary schools to talk to students about the importance of staying active. Children will have story time with the players, geography lessons from their hometowns across the globe, and learn exercises.
"When kids are active they feel better and get more out of life," said Mike Flood, VP of Community Relations for Sounders FC. "With this new youth program, the Sounders and Symetra will help children develop a lifetime of good healthy habits."
