Los Angeles County Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 6:38 a.m. at the former General Dynamics building at 1875 W. Mission Blvd.
The blaze eventually went to a second alarm, said Los Angeles County Fire Dispatch Supervisor Ray Dong. One firefighter suffered minor injuries during the incident.
The 80 firefighters managed to contain the blaze by 8:31 p.m., Dong said. The cause is under investigation.
