Nigel Darby has been named as vice president, Biotechnologies for GE Healthcare, a division within GE Technology Infrastructure.
Darby most recently was responsible for the Biotechnologies business within Life Sciences and also serving as chief technology officer for Life Sciences. He joined GE over six years ago as vice president, Research & Development for GE Healthcare - Life Sciences. Prior to that he was VP, Enabling Science and Technology for AstraZeneca in Sweden.
Also, Heather (Xiaojun) Wang has been appointed as vice president, Human Resources for GE International. Wang has been with GE for 15 years holding leadership positions within GE Lighting, GE Capital and GE International. Prior to joining GE she has had 10 years of business and HR management experience, including China International Trust & Investment Corp and AT&T Beijing Fiber Optic Cable Co.
