According to the company, the increase in loss for fiscal 2009 was offset by USD10.85m of non-cash accounting charges related to the restructuring of debt and the related re-pricing of warrants and debt. An additional USD3.172m of the loss was non-cash accounting charges related to debt discounts and valuations of stock and warrants issued in lieu of cash payments on the debt.
CryoPort also announced the inauguration of its first refurbishing and staging facility near New Delhi, India, as part of its effort to prepare for the commercialisation of the CryoPort Express.
