Market news reported on July 1, 2009 that officials in Shanghai would come to Beijing, capital of China, to make sure the establishment of the Disneyland park in the city, which boosted Disney concept stock Shanghai Forever Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600818) to grow rapidly early yesterday. In addition, Hong Kong announced the expansion of the Disneyland park in the region with the US Walt Disney.
People close to the matter disclosed that the Disneyland park in Shanghai, together with the financial industry and shipping, would be a major engine for the city's future development.
