A safety department spokesman at the Quebecor World Inc. plant on Evans to Locks Road said the incident remained under investigation, and more details were not immediately available. "The individual that was involved has been released from the hospital," the spokesman said.
The accident was reported to the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration's Region 4 office in Atlanta, which likely will conduct a routine inquiry into the accident, OSHA spokesman Mike Wald said today. Such investigations typically take up to six months to be completed and filed, after which its findings become public, he said.
