Prior to joining the Nexxus Lighting management team, Carpenter served as Engineering Program Manager for GE Lumination, overseeing design, product development and launch of solid-state LED lighting products for the architecture, signage and general lighting markets.
With over 14 years of experience in the lighting and automotive industry, Carpenter served as Engineering Manager for Magna Donnelly from 2003 to 2006 and in several engineering roles at Delphi for 1995 to 2003.
"Kevin brings a broad and diverse background to Nexxus Lighting in both product development and project management of solid-state lighting systems," said Mike Bauer, Nexxus Lighting's President and CEO. "Kevin has demonstrated a strong technical base as well as solid management experience throughout his career and we look forward to having him lead our product development and R&D efforts as we continue to expand our product offering, including our new Array Lighting LED replacement lamps."
Nexxus Lighting is a provider of advanced lighting technology, including solid-state LED and fiber optic lighting systems and controls used in commercial, architectural, signage, swimming pool, entertainment and retail lighting. Nexxus Lighting sells its products through its Commercial Lighting, Lumificient and Nexxus Lighting Pool & Spa divisions under the Array Lighting, Savi, eLum, LiveLED, Super Vision and Lumificient brand names.
