Belgium's Delhaize Group acquires four supermarkets in Romania

(NYSE:DEG) said on Tuesday that the company's subsidiary Mega Image has
acquired four stores operated under the name Prodas Supermarket in
Bucharest, Romania.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The four acquired stores reportedly generated revenues of EUR12.3m in
2008. The stores, ranging in size from 400 to 750 square metres, will
be converted into Mega Image supermarkets within the next three months.
