Shipments of the drugs will be suspended pending a preliminary injunction hearing in the patent infringement case with Johnson & Johnson scheduled to begin on July 15,2009. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is a leading generic pharmaceutical company based in Israel, with 80% of sales from North America and Europe.
