The telecommunications product and services firm consolidated 150 employees into a 144,000-square-foot facility at 901 Jupiter Road. The company said it plans to finish the upgrades to the lease space this month.
"We have extended our lease into 2018 and are appreciative of the incentives offered by the city of Plano," Telmar chief operating officer Doug Theobald said in a statement. "We are putting the investment to good use by modernizing our facility to increase our efficiency and environmental effectiveness."
Telmar said it made the move to North Texas to be closer to its telecommunications manufacturers and service providers.
The company has been in business for 40 years and has operations in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, India and Malaysia.
