In the second quarter of 2009, earnings per share increased 5.6% to $0.19 from $0.18 in the second quarter of 2008.
Operating revenues decreased 28.9% to $117 million from $164.6 million in the second quarter of 2008.
For the six months ended June 30, 2009, the company's net income decreased 0.4% to $31.8 million from $31.9 million in the same period of 2008. Earnings per share for the first six months of 2009 increased 6.1% to $0.35 from $0.33 in the same period of 2008.
The company's operating revenues for the six months ended June 30, 2009 decreased 26% to $232 million from $313.6 million in the first six months of 2008.
