The provider of application development, data management, migration and content archiving solutions said its product is a suite of software tools that enables companies and systems integrators (SIs) to analyse and convert Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft Platform.
The licensable Composer software toolset, previously available only as a service, enables a like-for-like migration of existing applications to the Microsoft stack, including ASP.NET.
The Composer for Lotus Notes Tool Set is made up of two components: the Composer Application Analyzer and the Composer Application Converter. The Composer Application Analyzer performs an analysis of the design of the existing Notes applications, while the Composer Application Converter migrates an entire Lotus Notes application to the Microsoft platform.
The company also announced a Composer for Lotus Notes evaluation license to help organisations assess the feasibility of migrating all or some of their Notes applications to the .NET environments. Using the Composer Evaluation License, organisations can migrate the User Interface, document data, security and business logic of a Notes application and access the application during the 45 day evaluation period.
No pricing details were disclosed.
