Yamada Denki will hold a 60% stake of joint venture and West Holdings will hold the remaining 40% stake. The joint venture will commence operations by early August 2009.
The joint venture will cover sales and maintenance of solar power generation systems by making use of Yamada Denki's retail network and West Holdings' know-how in home remodeling.
