Pinney will replace Alex Torres who is leaving InfoSpace to pursue other opportunities. Pinney will report directly to Will Lansing, InfoSpace president and chief executive officer.
As part of the leadership team, Pinney will play a key role in developing and implementing the Company's corporate strategy. She is also responsible for managing litigation, compliance, regulatory matters, contracts and other agreements, as well as providing general counsel on company matters.

With 18 years of experience as a legal advisor in the fields of technology, healthcare and retail, Pinney joins InfoSpace from Sound Inpatient Physicians, Inc., where she served as chief administrative officer and general counsel. Prior to that, she held the position of executive vice president of legal operations at Talyst Inc. From 1999 to 2006, Pinney served as vice president, legal and human affairs, general counsel, chief privacy officer & secretary at Drugstore.com where she successfully managed public and private financings. Prior to Drugstore.com, Pinney was an attorney at Perkins Coie, where she managed numerous public offerings and M&A transactions.
