The company said that the new version provides greater flexibility and agility for customers to configure and stand-up business and mission critical websites. It contains new features that facilitate and promote code re-use for easier and quicker e-business optimisation. Instead of creating functionality or process code in two different web application packs, BroadVision allows the creation of common functionality in one shared pack and then the ability to re-use it in the two different applications by creating a dependency to the shared pack. This reduces QA cycles within a project and supports customers' needs for faster time to market.
The scalable platform supports a large number of transactions, keeping site performance high even during peak times. This enables companies to handle high site traffic successfully and drive customer satisfaction, enhance user experience and increase customer loyalty, whether in a portal knowledge base or online shopping and purchasing experience.
