The company said that DisaboomJobs.com will increase the visibility and human resource capabilities of employers trying to create a more inclusive workforce by connecting them to a base of qualified job seekers with disabilities. In addition, the site supports both job seekers and employers through a wide range of disability-related employment resources.
The enhanced site contains all of the features of a mainstream job board; provides employers a greater number of job-posting, featured employer and branding opportunities; provides tracking and reporting features; allows job seekers to register and create their individual personal profile; and enables website accessibility compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and other accessibility requirements.
Currently, the website can provide its community of users and visitors access to over 600,000 job postings from approximately 500 employers.
