MSCI has said that BarraOne provides a multi-asset class framework for portfolio construction, interactive risk analysis, trade scenarios, portfolio optimization and risk reporting, delivered through a browser interface. The application also provides value at risk, back testing and stress testing functionality, which may be used by firms to help them with the relevant regulatory requirements.
