The Waterloo Wind Farm order was placed by Roaring 40s Renewable Energy Pty Ltd, a partnership between China Light & Power (CLP) Group and Hydro Tasmania.AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Under the agreement Vestas will supply, install and commission the wind turbines for the Waterloo Wind Farm. The order also includes a ten-year service agreement as well as a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution.AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Denmark-based Vestas will start shipping the turbines in the fourth quarter of 2009, with site delivery and installation in 2010.
Financial details of the order were not announced but Vestas said it does not affect the company's expectations for 2009.
