CyGene Rolls Out First Predictive Genetic Products in Russia

Aug 07, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- CYGE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- CyGene Laboratories Inc. announced that its direct-to-consumer predictive genetic products have been introduced in the Russian Federation by its exclusive licensee CyGene Russia.

The CyGene products are the first predictive DNA tests for the Russian market, the Company noted in a release.

CyGene currently markets a variety of DNA predictive genetic test panels that provide consumers with information on genetic predisposition to treatable conditions. The Company said that it is the only consumer genetic testing provider that guarantees anonymity to its customers, while providing access to the most updated science at the lowest possible price.

"We have great expectations for these new-age products that help consumers learn about themselves and make smart choices about their lifestyles," said Dmitri Nefedov, CEO of CyGene Russia at the company's inauguration party in Khabarovsk City.
