According to company officials, the conference will highlight technological advances, market research and policy initiatives shaping the future of plug-in hybrid and all-electric transportation.
The Enova Z is a commercialized all electric step-van drive system, targeted at the delivery and service vehicle market and is available now for fleet operators to deploy on existing routes.
Tom Quinn, the director for the Hawaii Center for Advanced Transportation Technology, recently stated, "The Enova Ze drive system has performed exceptionally well for the US Air Force. The support staff at Hickam Air Force Base have relied on the Ze to deliver outstanding service and quiet performance every day for more than a year. It certainly has become a valuable addition to their fleet."
The company noted that this technology has been demonstrated to USPS, Aramark, Amazon.com, UPS, the US Army, the Department of Energy, and several other national fleets and vehicle OEMs.
Recently, Enova and Navistar/IC Bus announced a US Department of Energy award under the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Technology Acceleration and Deployment Activity program for 60 PHEV school busses.
