Police -- alerted by a neighbor and the victim's boyfriend -- arrived at the FirstMerit Bank at 2878 State Road around 7:30 a.m. today.
One suspect released the victim unharmed after a brief discussion -- via cell phone -- with a police officer.
Police took this suspect -- a woman -- into custody.
The other suspect -- a man -- was not at the bank.
Falls police Capt. Tom Pozza said the victim knew the female suspect.
"The plot was they were going to take this girl up there and use the key before [the bank] opened and clean the bank out," Pozza said.
He said the two suspects abducted the victim from her home in the 700 block of Viewpoint Drive sometime after 7 a.m. He did not know how the two gained entry.
After the suspects and the victim left for the bank, the victim's boyfriend, who police said had been bound with duct tape, alerted a neighbor, who called police.
Pozza said the names of the suspects are being withheld because the investigation is ongoing.
