Today, the popular quick-casual bakery chain's parent company, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (Nasdaq: BAGL), announced that Einstein Bros. Bagels will continue its rapid growth through licensing during the remainder of this year and into 2010. Current plans call for more than 20 additional licensed store openings in the coming months.

Twelve new licensed stores highlight the chain's expansion through the first two quarters in 2009. The new locations in the 2nd quarter include: The University of Texas - El Paso, Georgia Southern University, The University of North Carolina - Charlotte, Fort Erwin (California), Fort Lee (Virginia), Bellarmine University, (Louisville, KY) and the National Security Agency offices at Fort George G. Meade (Maryland).
