Ltd (Nasdaq:XRTX) announced on Thursday support for Hitachi GST's
7,200RPM 2TB offering, the Ultrastar A7K2000 hard disk drive.

According to the company, Hitachi's Ultrastar A7K2000 2TB hard drives
have been integrated into Xyratex's family of storage systems.

The company's OneStor product family offers flexible and scalable
architecture that reduces sustaining engineering costs and product
qualification expense. Xyratex OEMs can customise the system to meet a
broad range of application workloads and environments. The company also
delivers a storage server platform that allows the convergence of
servers and storage in a single system.

The Ultrastar A7K2000 hard disk drive will be available for Xyratex
products over Q4 2009. No pricing details were disclosed.

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) develops advanced
hard disk drives and other storage solutions.
