The event was the last -- and biggest -- of four celebrations held at all four Cumberland Security Bank locations this summer.
Cumberland Security Bank was chartered in Eubank in 1909 under the name First State Bank, CEO Mike Simpson said.
"We operate under the oldest continuous charter in Pulaski County," he said. "We've also always been under local ownership and local shareholders."
In 1985, First State Bank merged with Bank of Somerset to form Cumberland Security Bank.
The institution is currently owned by Tony Wilburn, Doug Wilburn and Ben Garland.
Tony Wilburn called the 100th birthday celebration "a great milestone."
"I want to thank all our many customers throughout the years," Wilburn said.
"This wouldn't have been possible without all our customers."
Tony and Doug Wilburn, brothers, aren't just shareholders at Cumberland Security Bank.
They're also third-generation customers.
"Our grandfather started banking at this bank shortly after it opened," Wilburn said.
"We're the third generation in our family to bank here, and that's representative of the way many of our customers have come to us."
"We're proud that we've maintained local ownership for 100 years," Simpson said.
"This celebration with our customers and friends is our way of saying, 'Thank you for your patronage over the years. We wouldn't be here without you.'"
