The company has reported revenue of $1.21 billion for the second quarter of 2009, compared to $2.47 billion for the same quarter of 2008.
Oil Refineries has reported a net income of $66.61 million for the first six months of 2009, compared to $73.47 million for the corresponding period of 2008. Year-to-date revenue was $2.19 billion, compared to $4.36 billion for the first six months of 2008.
Yashar Mordechai, CEO of Oil Refineries, said: "Oil Refineries presented, during the quarter and six months, refining margins in excess of the regional Mediterranean benchmark. The global economic crisis has drawn a stiffening of fuel product prices which, paired with the increase in crude oil prices, has eroded global refining margins."
