The move follows the announcement which was made on June 25, 2009 that Mr Thomas will leave the board shortly after announcing the interim results on August 5, 2009.
Mr Thomas joined the UK-based food manufacturer as an executive director in June 2002 and has since served on the board. The company has said that a replacement for Mr Thomas will be announced in due course.
