Marshaleck has a 26-year history with Maiden and GMAC Re, Maiden Re's predecessor company, and most recently served as chief operating officer of Maiden Holdings since January. Marshaleck also served in several senior leadership capacities with GMAC Re since 1983, including serving as president and CFO.
Maiden Holdings (NASDAQ: MHLD) also said Michael Tait has been appointed chief accounting officer of Maiden Holdings and CFO of Maiden Insurance in Bermuda.
Maiden Holdings Ltd. was formed in 2007 and merged with GMAC Re in December 2008 (BestWire, Dec. 12, 2008).
Maiden Insurance Co. currently has a Best's Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent). The company's stock was trading at $7.50 a share in trading on the morning of Aug. 19, down 1.19% from the previous close.
