Dabur India opens newu store in Delhi

Aug 21, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- DBUIF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Consumer goods company Dabur India, through its retail subsidiary H&B Stores, has opened a new newu branded beauty and wellness store at the DLF Promenad Mall in Vasant Kunj area of New Delhi, according to India PRwire.

According to the news source, the new 3,000sqft newu store will offer a full line of skin care, color cosmetics and fragrances from the international brand Elizabeth Arden. It will also feature a range of fragrances like DKNY, Kenzo, Aigner and Carolina Herrera.

With the addition of the new location, the company's total newu store network has increased to 12. The company is planning to open 10 stores over the next one year.

Manish Asthana, head of the northern region for H&B Stores, was quoted as saying: "This store, which will stock around 4,500 different stock keeping units, will cater to all the beauty and wellness needs of customers in the National Capital Region. The store will offer the discerning consumer a wide selection of brands in categories as diverse as cosmetics, skin care, hair care, fragrances, herbal care, beauty implements and accessories, gifts and confectionery, men and children toiletries, health foods and Ayurvedic products.

"H&B Stores has added five new stores to the newu network since January 2009, and continues to move forward on the expansion path with a vision to provide smart retail options to its customers. The reduction in rental rates is an added incentive to move forward with the retail brand's expansion strategy."
