The prizes from Diamond Trust Bank (DTB), Salini Construction Company and Classic Boutique were given out after a sports gala last Saturday.
The prizes included bicycles, a sewing machine, radios, batteries, wall clocks, medallions, building tape measures, sugar, tree seedlings and rain coats.
The sports activities that included a 10.7km race, tug of war and local wrestling were organised by Buyala Rural Development Initiative (BURUDI) a charity organisation at Buyala forest camp in Budondo Sub County.
In the men's race, Celina Agong from Kakira Town Council in Jinja, emerged the winner and walked away with a bicycle.
In the ladies competitions, the winner, Lydia Wasagali walked away with a sewing machine from DTB while second-placed Anna Agong took home a radio.
