PowerRating -- 8/27/2009 - Energy Transfer Partners LP (NYSE:ETP) said it agreed to a settlement with the staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission over unspecified agency claims against the company. The company said that the settlement agreement is subject to the approval the FERC and until it is approved, the terms will remain confidential. ETP is a publicly traded partnership that owns and operates a diversified portfolio of energy assets. It has pipeline operations in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Utah, and owns the largest intrastate pipeline system in Texas.
