"Keynote has seen first-hand the fast pace of change and increasing complexity of the Web," said Vik Chaudhary, vice president of product management and corporate development at Keynote. "Web sites now include the ability to handle very complex transactions. Examples include rich content such as Adobe Flash and Silverlight that occupy the most prominent portions of home pages, more components per page, content integration from 3rd parties, asynchronous application communication, much larger sites in terms of number of Web pages, more complex back-end server integrations and geographically distributed customer profiles."
The company expects MyKeynote 9.0 to make managing large numbers of measurements easier for corporations. For example, the company said, customers with 50, 100 or more measurements can organize them with the 'email groups' feature. Operations teams can create multiple email groups and then email groups of people rather than dozens of individual email addresses, when specifying alarm and report recipients, the company said.
