Announcement (June 8, 2009):
LANXESS has agreed to acquire the business and production assets of Jiangsu Polyols Chemical.
Following completion of the transaction, LANXESS will integrate Jiangsu Polyols Chemical into its Basic Chemicals unit. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2009.
Jiangsu reported revenues of approximately EUR10 million in 2008 and currently has 170 employees.
