Metso to supply container board machine to Fujian Liansheng Paper in China

Metso will supply a container board machine to Fujian Liansheng Paper Co., Ltd, in Zhangzhou city, Fujian province, on the southeast coast of China. The start-up of the production line is scheduled for the Q4 of 2010. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The order is included in Paper and Fiber Technology's Q3 orders received.

Metso's delivery will include a complete board machine with production capacity of around 300,000 tonnes of fluting type container board annually.

Fujian Liansheng Paper Co., Ltd. started paper production in 1999. The company established the Zhangzhou mill site in 2006.
