The rankings are based on a workplace analysis survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics. Artesian employees and employees of other participating companies were asked in the survey to rate their workplace on issues such as quality of life in the business environment, company culture, leadership quality of employees, training, benefits and pay scales.
"We are delighted to achieve this distinction in Delaware, particularly because the ranking is based on responses from our employees," said Dian C. Taylor, Chair, President & CEO of Artesian Resources. "We are dedicated to providing the very best possible work environment for our employees to enable them to better serve our customers."
Artesian Resources operates as the holding company of eight subsidiaries offering water, wastewater and engineering services on the Delmarva Peninsula. Artesian Water Company, the principal subsidiary, is an investor-owned public water utility on the Delmarva Peninsula.
