With a total storage capacity of 300,000 cubic meters, the project will be completed within two to three years, said sources. And the first phase is designed to store 140,000 cubic meters of refined oil.
Previously, China National Aviation Fuel Group planned to locate the base in the Longhua area of Shanghai, but the scheme aborted because of such factors as dismantlement.
A logistics subsidiary of China National Aviation Fuel Group earlier settled down in Pudong, and Sun Li, general manger of the company, said that the integration of logistics assets would sped up.
Lately, the National Development and Reform Commission, China's macro-economic regulator, raised the ex-works price of aviation kerosene.
